Technique practice feat. badly drawn Best Coast cat and a color scheme that seemed cool in my head ‘till it was on paper.
Lessons learned:
1. Sometimes thin paint is nice but…
2. Layering over ink is not for the impatient because ink does what ink does best… smear.
I don’t know. I still kind of like it to be honest.
I don’t think a line of a song has ever been more relevant to my life. Or at least what it’s become within the last half a year. And that’s kind of sad, I guess. But regardless of that, just as the title of the song says, “at least I’m not as sad as I used to be.”
This wasn’t quite what I had in mind to upload today, but it turns out I don’t have any watercolor paper left, so I’m improvising with some dumb stuff from my sketchbook.
